Refund Policy

This policy applies to purchases of DryAcre made through our website. It sits alongside Paddle's Refund Policy — where the two differ, whichever gives you the greater right applies.

What's covered

• New license purchases — full refund within 30 days of purchase.
• Maintenance renewals — full refund within 30 days of the renewal charge.
• Accidental or duplicate charges — refunded whenever you tell us, inside or outside the 30 days.
• The free trial costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. Trying it first is the best way to know whether DryAcre fits your fields.

How to request a refund

Either route works, and both reach the same place:

• Email support@dryacre.com from the address you bought with. Telling us why is optional but genuinely helpful — if something is broken or missing, we'd like the chance to fix it.
• Use the "View receipt" link in the order confirmation email Paddle sent you, or contact Paddle's buyer support directly at paddle.net.

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days.

How the refund is paid

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all DryAcre orders, so Paddle issues the refund to your original payment method. Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 14 days, though how quickly the money appears depends on your bank or card issuer. Any sales tax or VAT charged is refunded with the purchase price.

What happens to your license

When a refund is issued, your license to use DryAcre ends. You agree to stop using the Software, remove it from your computers, and stop using the license key. We deactivate the refunded key so it can no longer be activated or renewed. Drainage plans and exports you already created remain your own files on your own computer — we have no access to them and do not delete anything from your machine.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live. In particular, through Paddle:

• Buyers in the EU/EEA, UK, and Switzerland have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Note that this right is normally lost once you have started downloading or using the software, because you consent at checkout to immediate delivery. Our 30-day guarantee above is broader and is the one most buyers will want to use.
• Buyers in Canada, Brazil, South Korea, and China have a 7-day cancellation right, and in Singapore a 5-day right.

The highest level of rights always applies.

Fair use

This guarantee is offered in good faith. We may decline a refund where a license has been refunded and repurchased repeatedly, where the licensing or trial mechanisms have been tampered with, or where the request is otherwise abusive. We will always tell you why.
